Paul A. Marks

PAUL A. MARKS, Sr. Tribute Service for Paul A. Marks, Sr., 81, will be Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM at The DeJohn Funeral Home & Crematory of Chardon (formerly Ritondaro) 126 South St. (Rt. 44, south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square). Mr. Marks passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Saturday Jan. 19th, 2013. He was a 47-year resident of Chardon previously living in Middlefield.

Paul worked for many years as a Truck Driver. He most enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and looked forward to “his rewards”. Paul is described by his family as funny, jolly and a great story-teller. He was a Korean War U.S. Army Veteran.

Paul is survived by his children Paul (Heidi) Marks, II and Rhonda (Stuart) Rayl whom he raised on his own; his adored grand-children Sami, Chrissy, Dave, Stuart, Danny, Hannah, Jessi, Joey and Jeremy; and brothers Glenn and Donald Marks.

Mr. Marks was preceded in death by his parents Ruth (Wagner) and Harry Marks; siblings Harry Marks Jr., Frances Skeels, Edith Koller and Daniel Marks.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Paul at the Funeral Home Tuesday 5-8 PM. Cremation by DeJohn Crematory will follow the service.
