Paul T. Traczyk

PAUL T. TRACZYK age 75, beloved husband for 53 years of Margaret A.  (nee Evcic); loving father of Matthew (Shaunta’), Cheryl DeBock (Lawrence), and Brian (Kelly); devoted grandfather of Raion, Geovonni, Andariel, Allison Strickland (Trenton), Lauren (David Bankey), Samantha, Michael, Nico, Gianna, and Luciano; great-grandfather of Benjamin Strickland and Baby Bankey; cherished son of the late Theodore T. and Mary S. (nee Houck); dearest brother of the late David J.; dear brother in law, uncle, cousin and friend of many.

Paul was born July 2, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio and passed away on February 5, 2022. He was a US Navy Veteran serving from 1967-1975 on the USS Intrepid and USS Glover. He was a member of the American Legion, as well as a Leader of Boy Scouts of America for over 35 years. Paul was also a Special Education PSR Teacher at St. Clare Church from 1999-2016, an Electronics Technician for 37 years and a Commissioner of the Mayfield Soccer Club for 5 years where he also served as a coach.

Paul loved spending time with his family and friends, as well as watching his grandkids participate in many different sports.

He will be missed dearly.

Relative and friends are invited to meet for a Mass of Christian Burial Friday, February 11, 2022 at 10AM St. Clare Catholic Church 5659 Mayfield Road, Cleveland, Ohio 44124. 

Military Honors following at the church.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Paul at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY 4-8 PM.

 Burial at All Souls will be announced at a later date.
