Richard Harry Melkerson

RICHARD H. MELKERSON age 90, beloved husband of the late Colleen (nee Kerry); cherished son of the late Harry and Edith (nee Lauer); dearest brother of the late Ray Melkerson (wife Lisa deceased); dear uncle of Linda and Stu Shaw, Thomas and Kathy Nist and Eric Melkerson and great-uncle of many.

Richard was born in Cleveland and grew up in South Euclid. He was a graduate of Brush High School in 1954 and Miami University of Ohio. He was a proud US Army veteran.

He was an engineer with Eaton Corporation. He enjoyed boating, fishing and golfing and was a lifelong fan of Cleveland sports.

His profession reflected in his personal life as he was strong-willed, intelligent, meticulous and accurate. He will be remembered as hard-working and friendly.
