age 68, cherished son of the late Robert J. and Marian Knotek (nee Klasson); dearest brother of David (wife Lana deceased) and Joan Hinkle (husband Robert); dear uncle of Krissy Morelli (husband Brian), Daniel Knotek (deceased) and April Lagman (husband Curtis) and great-uncle of Matthew, Jenna, Ava, Lucy and Millie.
Bob was born in Cleveland on November 17, 1957. He attended St. Joseph High School where in lettered in swimming. He graduated in 1976 and went on to Purdue University.
He was a cook at local hospitals and enjoyed golf, walking, cooking, reading and listening to his favorite artist, Neil Young. He was a proud Browns and Indians fan and loved his Ohio State Buckeyes. He also loved his time with the Lukes, especially golf outings, camping and the outdoors.
Bob was intelligent, hardworking, and dependable. He was friendly to everyone and had a great sense of humor. Bob selflessly chose to be an organ donor. He will be remembered for his devotion to his family and will be missed by all who knew him.

Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, February 5, 2026 at St. Clare Catholic Church, 5659 Mayfield Rd., at 10 AM. Cremation handled by DeJohn Crematory.
