ROBERT CHARLES BARKER, aged 78 years, beloved husband for 54 years to Helen (nee Romanchick), dear father of James Edward, Anne Taylor and the late Jay, fond father-in-law to Tim Taylor, special mentor “Pa” to his grandson Pvt. Matthew Taylor, U.S.A. and grandfather of Nehemiah, Justus and Kiannah, devoted brother of John (deceased) and Sally Cudrik, cherished uncle and great-uncle. Robert was a United States Army Veteran.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, April 21, 2017 at Gesu Catholic Church at 11 AM. Private burial with military honors at a later date in Lake View Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Bob at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just East of Green Rd.) THURSDAY 4-8 PM.
