Robert Gardjulis

ROBERT GARDJULIS age 79, beloved husband for 54 years of Cynthia (nee Brinovec); loving father of Robert J. (wife Carla) and Joanne Millsaps (husband John); devoted grandfather of Tyler Gardjulis, Chris Nolin (wife Angel), James Nolin (wife Julie), Cierra Valle, Audri Caraballo, Isabel Millsaps (fiance Charlie) and Jacob Millsaps and great-grandfather of Donovan Way, Avery Way and Aurora Nolin; cherished son of the late John, Anne (nee Teresavage) and Charlotte (stepmom); and friend of many.

Robert was born November 28, 1945 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, moving to Willowick, Ohio at the age of 16. Uncle Sam call upon him to serve in the military during the Vietnam war, which he did proudly with the Army artillery. Returning home, he started a long-time career as a boiler worker for the Illuminating Company.

Robert married Cynthia, the love of his life, on September 23, 1967 and set up a loving home where they raised two children and later welcomed seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Spending time with them consistently brought a smile to his face.

Favorite leisure activities for Robert included taking cruises with his wife, being outside to see the wonder of nature, working on cars and building model cars. Riding in the car, he loved to sing along to country tunes or hits from the 50s. A cherished annual adventure with all of the family in tow was selecting the perfect Christmas tree and enjoying a hearty dinner afterwards.

This admired husband, dad, papa and great-grandpa was always there when anyone needed something. He proudly accepted their teasing that he was a book of useless knowledge. Robert passed away on July 9, 2025. While treasuring their memories, his devoted family will forever miss his humor, strength and fatherly guidance.

Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, July 18, 2025 at 11AM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Inurnment following at All Souls Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91).
