Rosalie A. Needham

ROSALIE A. NEEDHAM (nee Sifling), age 76. Retired Collinwood High School Teacher and Alumni Board Member of Ursuline College. Beloved wife for 50 years of John A. Cherished daughter of the late Harry and Rosalie O. (nee Ori) Sifling. Dearest sister of Harriet Nagy and the late John Sifling. Dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Rosalie was an Alumni Board member at Ursuline College. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and going out for good food and wine. Rosalie loved having fun and her family remembers her as a lovely, classy and sophisticated woman. Rosalie received here bachelor’s degree from Ursuline College and her master’s from Kent State University. For 32 years Rosalie was a home economics teacher at Collinwood High School until 1995 when she retired.

Contributions may be made in Rosalie’s memory to Ursuline College or to St. Clare Catholic Church.

Prayers of Christian Burial will be Monday, March 22, 2010 at 11 AM at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.). Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory. Interment will be private at All Souls Cemetery.

The family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Rosalie at the funeral home Sunday, March 21, from 2-6 PM.
