Rosemarie Francis Rasch was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 17, 1932, and passed into eternity on April 19, 2026
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur P. Rasch and Elvira M. (neé Trepanier), brother, Ralph J Rasch and sister, Rita M. Snider and her lifelong friend, Dorothy Carson. Beloved aunt to Joann Goley (Brian), Mary L. Brown (Tom), and the late Raymond and Carol Rasch. Great aunt to Mark Goley, Brianna Best (Andrew) and Scott Goley (Alyssa), and great-grand aunt to Julianna, Therese, and Emery. "Aunt" to faithful caretaker Kathy Carson and family, Paul, Victoria, and William, and many other Carsons.
Rosemarie was born and grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and attended Holy Name Parish School and Notre Dame Academy. She became an X-ray Technologist in her 20's, training at Forest City Hospital and was hired by a private radiology office where she worked for Krause, Lubert, & Associates for 25 + years. During that time, she trained in the specialty of Mammography where she kept up with the evolution of the craft and excelled.
She traveled a bit, visiting family in Florida and Arizona, touring the Grand Canyon and later visited Fort Smith, Arkansas. One of the highlights of one Florida trip, was visiting the Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament in Hanceville, AL, as well as visits to New Orleans, LA, the USS Alabama in Mobile, AL and many other adventures during family visits. She took a few sightseeing trips to Washington, DC and Toronto, Canada, where the highlight was the Phantom of the Opera production, as well as to the New England area to tour tall ships, which were a favorite of hers. Locally she was an avid Cleveland baseball fan and supporter of Sea World while it was functioning and several other outdoor venues.
Rosemarie was a lifelong Catholic and was supportive of her parish at St. Mary in Chardon, where she helped with a ladies group meeting for coffee and support. Her current parish of St. Helen has been very welcoming. Rosemarie eventually moved to Light of Hearts Villa in Bedford where she made many new friends and participated in their activities. May she rest in the arms of Jesus in His eternal Mercy.
