Rozann Korb (née Serago), age 71, beloved wife of Ken for 45 wonderful years, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2025.
Rozann was the loving mother of Christopher (wife Kylie) and Valerie Danford (husband Kevin); devoted Yiayia to Charlotte and Eloise Danford and Mackenzie Korb. She was the cherished daughter of the late John and Thespina (née Perris) Serago, and the dear sister of Deena, John (wife Kim), and Mike (wife Jeanmarie) Serago. She was a treasured daughter-in-law of the late Max and Frances Korb and a beloved sister-in-law to Donald and Patricia Korb, Cindy and the late Gary Wildman, Joy and Bob Markel, and Tom and Debra Korb. Rozann was also a dear aunt, godmother, and friend to many.
Born on September 18, 1953, in Cleveland, Ohio, Rozann graduated from Maple Heights High School in 1971 and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from Hiram College. Throughout her career, she held various roles, each one rooted in what mattered most to her: building meaningful connections with others.
She followed her faith as a member of Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, actively participating in their bible study group. She found joy in cooking—especially traditional Greek dishes.
Rozann and Ken cherished their winters in Florida, enjoying time together on New Smyrna Beach, discovering new restaurants, and creating magical memories with their grandchildren. She adored her family and could make a friend anywhere—and did. Though she held many roles in life, her greatest joy came from being a Yiayia.
Rozann’s passing is deeply felt by all who knew her, but her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will continue to live on in the hearts and memories of those who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Rozann’s memory to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, PO Box 22324, New York, NY 10087 or online at https://www.lls.org/office/cleveland-oh
