SAM A. TOMASELLI age 87, beloved husband for 70 blessed years of Marie (nee DelNostro) Tomaselli; loving father of Salvatore (Mary Jo), Antonia “Toni” Perossa (Lino), Laura Ritz (Ernie), and Kenneth (Kelly MacDonald); devoted grandfather of Jon (Tracy), Patrick (Shawna), Stephen (Allison), Maria Perossa, Dana Karabatso, Michelle Continenza (Vincent), Nina, and Gino and great-grandfather of Lucia, Dominic, Joshua, Connor, Ariana, George, Anaya, Taylyn, Avery, and Angelina; cherished son of the late Dominic and Lucy (nee Vitolo) Tomaselli; dearest brother of Patricia “Pat” Bystricky (Chuck) and the late Clara; brother-in-law of Anthony DelNostro, dear uncle, great-uncle and friend of many.

Sam was a plasterer, a uniformed detective for the Cleveland Heights Police Department for 25 years, head of security at Oakwood Country Club, and front desk security at the Laurel School. Sam and Marie were faithful parishioners of Ss Robert and William for 30 years. He was an avid golfer, excellent wine maker, and Cleveland Browns Fan. Sam was his happiest when he was surrounded by the people he loves, especially for Sunday dinner. He was hardworking, loving, giving, and had a great sense of humor. He will be dearly missed by so many who love and admire him.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Ss Robert and William Catholic Church located at 367 E. 260th St., Euclid at 10AM. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Sam at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) Friday, May 13, 2022 from 3PM until 8PM.
