Devoted grandfather of Denise Achberger, Laura Campbell, Pamela Muensterman, Samuel Pugh Marfut and great-grandfather of Jonathan, Dalton, Megan, Kenton, Sara and Lisa. Dearest brother of Myron, Vera Tarter, Dorothy Vani and the late Harry, Andrew and Elias. Dear uncle and great-uncle of many. World War II U.S. Army Purple Heart Veteran.
