Shirley M. Petrecca

SHIRLEY M. PETRECCA (nee Danley) age 93, of Willowick passed away December 21, 2025.

She was the beloved wife of the late Carmen; loving mother of Nancy Taylor (husband Jeff), Patrick (wife Jena), Mary Brown (husband Robert), Jack (wife Tammy), Ron (wife Kristi); devoted grandmother of Stephanie Nader (husband Chris), Kevin Taylor (wife Jenny), Scott Taylor (wife Stephanie) Philip Kinney (wife Jessica), Amber Kinney, Erik Petrecca (Catherine Saccardi), Sara Mann (husband McGhee), CJ Brown, Carolyn Brown, Kasey Petrecca and Jack Petrecca, Jr., Austin Luchowski (Josipa Sopta), Donovan Petrecca, Carson Petrecca and Morgan Petrecca and "GG" of 11; cherished daughter of the late Oscar and Margaret (nee Kramer) Danley; dearest sister of Peggy Danley, and the late Jeanette Radabaugh and Patricia Shuler. Dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Shirley was born in Euclid on November 12, 1932. She graduated from Euclid High School in 1950 and met her husband, Carmen at Chase Brass. They moved to Willowick where they raised their family.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed puzzles, reading, crocheting, baking, and watching golf, The Cleveland Guardians and her grandchildren's sporting events. She was a member of the M&M Chase Brass Social Club. She also liked to listen to Patsy Cline and try her luck at the slots at the casinos.

She will be remembered as a caring, selfless woman with a great sense of humor who always put her family first.

Cremation by DeJohn Crematory. A Celebration of Life Service will be on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 4:00 PM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Shirley at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) SATURDAY, JANUARY 3, 2026 from 1-4PM. Private burial at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
