Our dear Sister Mary Andrew went home to God Wednesday, August 22, at 7:30 p.m. Sister dedicated her life to the ministry of education in many varied forms—teacher, principal, editor, author of curriculum, reading and religion texts, and coordinator/writer of a recording entitled America Defined. Sister once commented, “I always found happiness in my varied ministries, perhaps because God was there first.”

The wake will be on Monday, August 27, from 2–4 and 7–9, at Notre Dame Education Center, 13000 Auburn Rd., Chardon with the prayer service at 7:00, and on Tuesday from 9–10:15 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, August 28, at 10:30 a.m. at Notre Dame with the private burial following.
