Our dear Sister Mary Laurie (74) went home to God very peacefully Friday, March 31, at 11:58 a.m. Sister treasured each of her ministries, her family, friends and all of God’s creation. She once wrote, “I am grateful to collaborate with so many God-centered, justice-orientated and Spirit-motivated people and hope my own heart longings and spiritual gifts support the local and global community.” May Sister Mary Laurie delight in the arms of our good and loving God for all eternity.

The wake will be on Monday, April 3, from 2–4 and 7–9 p.m., at Notre Dame Education Center, 13000 Auburn Road, Chardon, Ohio with a prayer service at 7:00, and on Tuesday from 9:00–10:15 a.m. The Mass of Christian Burial for Sister Mary Laurie will be at 10:30 a.m. at Notre Dame Education Center on Tuesday, April 4.
