Stella L. Hazen

STELLA L. HAZEN (nee Giannetti) age 94, beloved wife of the late William; loving mother of Linda A. Hazen and the late Penny Schulte; devoted grandmother of Heidi and William Schulte and great-grandmother of Harmony and Alexa; dearest sister of Rose Marie Danko, Bernard Giannetti (wife Theresa), Carmella Iacianci (husband Victor) and the late Contalia Klinko (husband Ray) and Frank Jiannetti (wife Mary); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Stella was born on October 18, 1922 in Pennsylvania and passed away on April 17, 2017. She was a resident of Richmond Heights for 4 years, formerly of Lyndhurst. Stella was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church for over 50 years. She worked at Fisher Fazio Grocery as a clerk. Stella loved golf, crafts, cooking and baking. She will be remembered as a helpful, friendly and very social woman. Stella made friends everywhere she went. Her family was everything to Stella and she was a care giver to many. Stella will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 10:30 AM at St. Clare Catholic Church. Burial following at Knollwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Stella at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 4-8 PM.
