Terrance Michael Sullivan

Terrance Michael Sullivan, 76, of Willoughby, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 2, 2026, surrounded by his family. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 24, 1949, to John and Delia Sullivan (nee Hanlon).

A beloved and adoring father who strived to instill Christian values in family, Terry is survived by his wife Chris Sullivan (nee Belovich); children, Mary Sullivan, Patrick (Kelly) Sullivan and Katie (Paul) Murphy; grandchildren, Connor, Brogan, Declan, Avery, Patrick, Gwen and Quinn; siblings, Fr. Jack Sullivan, Irene Sullivan, Bonnie Sullivan, Mark (Cathy) Sullivan, Tom (Barb) Sullivan and several nieces and nephews.

Terry was preceded in death by his father (John), mother (Delia), son (Matthew), and sisters Kathy Sullivan and Rose (Guy) Wilson.

Terry, a 1967 graduate of St. Joe's High School and 1971 graduate of Dayton University, spent two years in the United States Navy stationed on Midway Island before beginning his career as an Algebra teacher at Lake Catholic High School. A short time later, Terry started a long career in the banking industry working for several banks, primarily as an information technology executive, eventually retiring from Park National Bank in 2009. After retirement, Terry occupied his time playing golf, spending time with his grandkids and working simple jobs where he had the opportunity to have conversations with everyday people.

Irish to the core, Terry was a simple man that cherished his "peace and quiet", but loved interacting with people and was extremely generous with his time and money. He was a lifelong fan of the Cleveland Browns and Indians, but if he had one choice of where to be it was in front of a slot machine at a nearby casino.

A private family service to honor Terry will be held at a later date.
