Thomas Loser

THOMAS P. LOSER age 73, beloved husband for 46 years of Sharon (nee Kirkpatrick); loving father of Sara Kaleal (husband Jerry) and Josef (wife Jessica); devoted grandfather of Anthony, Vincenzo, and Giada Kaleal, Gavin, Logan, and Matthew Loser; cherished son of the late William and Cecilia (nee Handler) and son-in law of Lorretta and the late Aubrey Kirkpatrick; dearest brother of Cecilia Ziko (husband Wally, deceased), Patricia Tech (husband Richard, deceased), and the late Richard (wife Barbara, deceased) and Steven (deceased), and brother-in-law of Audrey and Richard Hawthorne, Darla and Jon Brier, and Lisa Kirkpatrick; dear uncle, great-uncle, and friend of many.

Thomas was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 26, 1952, and graduated from Mayfield High School in 1970. He worked for many years as a heavy equipment mechanic for Utilities Construction Company. Thomas was a major Cleveland sports fan and had a great sense of humor. He loved music, especially from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s or from the Country genre. In his free time Thomas liked to garden, cook, barbeque, travel to wineries, and occasionally play slots at the casino. He was a strong-willed, hard worker who was deeply dedicated to his family. Thomas will be remembered for his sociable and friendly personality and ability to bring laughter to any room.

Cremation by The DeJohn Funeral Home. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Tom at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) SATURDAY, July 5, 2025, at 1 – 4 PM.
