THOMAS M. CHRISTIE SR., MAJ US ARMY RET age 92. Beloved husband of the late Marie (nee Slye); loving father of Sharon Christie, Noreen Fox (husband Charles) and Thomas M., Jr (wife Sandra); devoted grandfather of Drew Beets, Leslie Buskariol (husband Anthony), Chad Fox, Heather Fox (husband Aaron Bernardo), Hillary Fox (fiance Matthew Daily), Ryan Beets (wife Jennifer), Lauren Christie and the late Thomas M. III and great-grandfather of Katherine, Daniel, Nicholas, Matthew, Liam, Colin and Tara; fond father-in-law of Andrew Beets; dearest brother of Richard and the late William and Helen Edgar; dear uncle and great-uncle of many.

During Tom’s 26 year Army career he served in the European Theatre of Operations during WW II and also served in Korea, Germany, France and Stateside. Contributions may be made in Tom’s memory to Hospice of the Western Reserve 17876 St Clair Ave Cleveland, OH 44110.

Celebration of Life Service Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the Funeral Home at 11 AM. Burial following with full military honors at Lake View Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Tom at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF SOUTH EUCLID, 4600 MAYFIELD RD. (just east of Green Rd.) WEDNESDAY MORNING 10-11 AM.
