Timothy Basler

age 66, beloved husband for 17 years of Aggie Nagy; cherished son of the late William and Jean (nee Seidehamel) Basler; son-in-law of Grace and the late Miklos “Mickey” Nagy; dearest brother of Roni Basler; brother-in-law of Paul Nagy, Susie Peterson (husband Mark), and Peter Nagy; loving uncle of Jason (wife Dawn) and Grace Peterson; dear nephew, cousin, and friend of many.

Timothy was born on March 7, 1956, in Cleveland, Ohio, where he remained a lifelong resident. He proudly attended Wittenberg University, to which he received a bachelor’s degree in business, and many strong friendships as a proud member of Phi Mu. Tim enjoyed being outdoors, whether he was golfing on land or scuba-diving in the ocean. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife, Aggie, whom he married on August 27, 2005. Above all things, Tim was a man of amazing character and a true friend you could count on to help you, regardless of what it was, as he never said no. Through his 66 years on Earth, he never met a stranger. Tim always had a twinkle in his eyes, an infectious smile and laugh. He had the amazing ability to make everyone he met feel so special. On September 5, 2022, this generous, kind hearted man passed away, leaving his legacy of love, care and generosity to all were blessed to know him.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Tim Thursday, November 10, 2022, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, 2281 Columbus Rd, Cleveland, OH 44113, from 10-11 AM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM.
