Valerie Ann Vargo

VALERIE ANN VARGO (nee Delaney) age 62, beloved wife for 38 years of Robert; loving mother of Peter (Nichole); cherished daughter of the late Dean and Edith (nee Zamberlan) Delaney; dearest sister of Kathleen (Rick) Gillespi and Kevin (Cynthia) Delaney; dear aunt, great-aunt, and friend of many.

Valerie was born on January 29, 1961, in Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania and graduated from Mifflinburg Area High School in 1978. She moved to the Cleveland area in 1981 and married the love of her life, Bob, in 1985. Together, she and Bob raised their son, Peter, and made so many wonderful memories. To say she was a sports fan would be an understatement. Valerie loved the Cleveland Browns and Indians, as well as the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles. She enjoyed cooking and was very good at it. Valerie had learned much of what she knew from her family and made many meals that reflected her Irish and Italian heritage. Above all things, Valerie loved time spent with her family and friends, especially game nights at their friend’s house. On October 14, 2023, this most loving individual passed away leaving her family and friends missing her beyond measure.
