VINCENT DALE TONDY, SR. age 92, beloved husband of the late Serepta "Kay" (nee Beckwith) Tondy; loving father of Dulce Bayer (Frank), Nancy (Donna Mazzola), the late Vincent (Juanita), and the late Emil (Lisa, deceased) Tondy; devoted grandfather of Joshua, Sarah, Sam (Kasey Montgomery), and Leah Bayer (Luke Goodman); Kimberly (John Kalosky) and Kristia Tondy; Sherry Winkler (Paul Weeks), Justine (Stephen Toto), Angela, Emily, and Vincent Tondy; great grandfather of 7; cherished son of the late Emil and Nancy (nee D'Amico) Tondy; dearest brother of the late Emil (Josephine, deceased) Tondy; dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and friend of many.
Born on June 17, 1933, Vincent graduated from East High School in 1952 and was privileged to serve his country in the United States Army. Afterward, he opened Atlas TV, a business he operated for 30 years. He and Kay were married and had 4 children whom Vince raised after Kay's untimely death in 1972. He was endlessly patient, generous, and quick to smile. Family was the most important part of his life. Vince was a respected member of Eastside Kiwanis; he also enjoyed fishing, ballroom dancing, square dancing, camping, visiting flea markets, listening to Italian music, and spending time with his grandkids. He passed away on September 20, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love.

Family will receive friends at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) on THURSDAY October 2 from 3-5 PM and 6-8 PM with Celebration of Life Service at 6 PM. The family will receive friends at CALVARY CEMETERY, 248 S BELLE VISTA AVE, Youngstown, OH on FRIDAY October 3 from 11-11:30 AM in the Chapel.
