Wendy S. Brown

WENDY S. BROWN (nee Stamm) age 65, beloved wife for 43 years of Frank; loving mother of Valerie (wife Erika Buehman), Rochelle, Shanna (fiancé DJ Ibold), and Ethan; cherished daughter of the late Ted   and Casella (nee Call) Stamm; dearest sister of Barry (wife Jane), Julia and Del Stamm (wife Helen); treasured daughter-in-law of the late Rose and Ernest Brown and sister-in-law of Rosalie, Vancy, and William Brown (wife Alice);  dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Wendy was born on July 4, 1956 and died peacefully on June 24th, 2022. She has lived in Mayfield Heights since 1988 and prior to that Lyndhurst.

Wendy grew up in Mantua and graduated from Crestwood High School in 1974. She went on to attend Youngstown State University where she played softball and earned her degree in accounting. She worked in accounting for over 25 years and truly enjoyed working with her clients and providing positive experiences.

Wendy was an avid athlete and she enjoyed playing softball, bowling and playing table tennis. She also loved the ocean and spending time on the beach. Wendy was generous, loving and kind.  She was a great listener with a compassionate heart.

Above all, Wendy was a devoted wife and mother. She will be dearly missed.

Celebration of Life Service Sunday, July 10, 2022 at 1:30 PM at Hilltop Christian Church, 4572 W. Prospect St, Mantua, OH 44255. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Wendy at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) FRIDAY  JULY 8^TH 2-4 and 5-8 PM.
