WILMA M. HAYDU (nee Johnson) age 94, beloved wife of the late Steven J.; loving mother of Kathy Campbell (husband Frank), Steven (wife Lori Ann deceased), Sue Bernhard (husband Bill deceased), Nancy DiVincenzo (husband Marc), Judy MacDonald (husband John) and John (wife Allison); devoted grandmother of Colleen Bills (husband Jon), Stephanie Allen (husband Caleb), Steven Haydu, Bill (wife Betsy), Andrew (wife Kaitlyn) and Tim (wife Samantha) Bernhard, Christine DeHaan (husband Jesse), Lauren Pleban (husband J.C.), Melissa DiVincenzo, Kelly Sears (husband Mitch), Alicia (Tate) and Shane (Marissa) MacDonald and Jack and Addeson Haydu; great grandmother of 17; cherished daughter of the late Raymond and Lucille (nee Aderholt) Johnson; dearest sister of Sue Azenhofer (husband Ace deceased), Art Semlow (wife Joan), and the late Betty Engel (husband Verl deceased), Donald and Jack Johnson (wife Dodie); dear aunt and great-aunt of many.

Wilma was born on June 24, 1930, and passed away on May 16, 2025. She graduated from Euclid High School in 1948. She met and married Steven and the two started a family. Wilma worked at Hough Bakery which fueled her love for baking. She also enjoyed cooking, ironing, babysitting and dancing. She enjoyed the music of Andy Williams, Paul Anka and all Polka music. She most enjoyed being a homemaker because she was devoted to her family. Wilma was very welcoming and hospitable to all. She was social and friendly, kind and loving. She loved to talk, and no one was a stranger to her. Wilma will be dearly missed by her large and loving family and by all who knew her.

Prayers of Christian Burial Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at 10 AM at THE FUNERAL HOME. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Wilma at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) TUESDAY 4-8 PM.
