I will remember the image of Mrs. Perhay, as described by Judy, leading a konga line at a Slovenian wedding. What a lovely, joyful lady, devoted mother, and brave woman. While goodbyes suck, I am grateful for all the years of her long life with which she spread goodness to the world. She will spend her eternity in the hearts of those who loved her and in turn were loved by her.

My prayers are with you, Judith, Elizabeth, Mike and the Perhay family especially during this time. As a dear friend of Judith’s, I have heard stories of many of the Perhay adventures and how masterfully Mrs. Perhay led in her role as the grand lady in your lives. She was a resourceful, proud and honorable wife and mother who will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed. May you each find comfort and peace as you cherish beautiful memories and celebrate a long and beautiful life well-lived.
