
Celebration of Life Service to honor the life of Patty will be held on Sunday February 28, 2010 at 3:30 pm at the Willoughby Hills Community Center, 35400 Chardon Road Willoughby Hills, Ohio. Pastor Mike Currier will officiate. Patty passed away November 25, 2009 in Venice Florida as a result of an auto accident.
Patty was born May 27, 1955 in Willoughby, Ohio. She grew up in Willoughby Hills and graduated from Willoughby South High School and Lakeland Community College before marrying and moving to Venice, Florida. She worked as a nurse at the Venice Hospital in Florida for more than 20 years.
Patty is survived by her husband Don, and children Ryan Merrill of Port Charlotte, FL and Jacob, Amy and Joey Frantz of Venice, FL. She was the daughter of Mort and Florine ORyan of Willoughby Hills. Sister of Sherie (Walt) Ragan of Englewood, FL, David (Dotty) ORyan of Clarkston, MI, Kathleen (Vyto) Mekesa of Highland Heights and Nancy ORyan of Mount Dora, FL. She leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Family will receive friends from 2:30pm until time of service at 3:30pm and immediately following the service until 5:00pm.
In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made toward a Scholarship which will be set up in Pattys name at Lakeland Community College School of Nursing. Checks may be made out to DeJohn Funeral Home c/o 28890 Chardon Rd., Willoughby Hills, OH 44092 please note ORyan-Frantz Scholarship
