
PATRICK H. WALDRON, age 94, beloved husband for 68 years of Mary C. (nee Shaw); loving father of Geoffrey (wife Susan), Catherine Trepal, and Mary Beth Golja (husband Frederick); devoted grandfather of Kevin (wife Cindy), Maureen Henson (husband Jacob), Erin Krieger (husband Andrew), Megan Kreher (husband Matthew), Brendan Trepal, Colleen Golja and great-grandfather of 8; cherished son of the late Patrick and Beatrice (nee Prendergast); dearest brother of Sr. Brigetta, OSU, T. Gerald (wife Claire), Harold (wife Kathy) and the late Sr. Mary Angela Marie, OSU, James (wife LaVerne, deceased), John (wife Irene), Peggy, William, Roseann Weibel (husband Gus, deceased) and Sr. Catherine St. Ann, OSU. WWII U.S. Army Veteran.
Patrick was born on November 16, 1923 and sadly passed away on November 28, 2017. He was a longtime parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church which became the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish. He was a lector at parishes in St. Louis, MO and Avon, CT. He graduated from Spencer High School in Geneva and attended John Carroll University where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree. Patrick was a proud WWII U.S. Army Veteran. Patrick also worked as a Sales Representative for office furniture. He loved reading about history and war stories. Patrick greatly enjoyed gardening and traveling in his free time to Sarasota Florida. He was a fan of the Cleveland Indians and St. Louis Cardinals. Patrick loved airplanes and cars. He also loved to listen to Rat Pak music of the Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin era. Patrick was outgoing, friendly, caring, family oriented, and very religious. He will be dearly missed by all.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, December 2, 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 11:30 AM. Burial following with Military Honors at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Patrick at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) FRIDAY 3-5 & 6-8 PM.
