
RHONDA J. FORNARO (nee Erney), age 63, beloved wife of the late Andrew Jr.; loving mother of Robert; cherished daughter of Carl and the late Jean (nee Capuiso) Erney; dearest sister of Patrick Erney (wife Cindy) and Jeffry Erney (wife Sandra); dear daughter-in-law of the late Andrew Sr. and Marie (nee Caserta) Fornaro; dear sister-in-law, aunt and great-aunt of many.
Rhonda was born January 30, 1959 and grew up in Mayfield Heights. She lived in Florida for the past year. She graduated from Notre Dame Academy in 1977 and went on to study nursing at St. Vincent Charity Hospital School of Nursing. She then graduated 1985. She worked for UH Richmond Heights General Hospital in the field that she loved. Rhonda was an avid music enthusiast. She loved to sing and especially loved the Beatles. She also enjoyed cooking and baking. She was very hospitable and planned many family get togethers. She was friendly, loving and giving. She will always be remembered for being a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Rhonda to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Ok, Memphis, TN 38105. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, September 2, 2022, at St. Clare Catholic Church, 5659 Mayfield Rd at 10:00 AM. Entombment following at Knollwood Mausoleum. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Rhonda at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) THURSDAY from 3-5 and 6-8 PM.
