Robert “Bob” Boettcher age 96, died peacefully June 30th. He was born on August 1, 1923, in Cleveland, Ohio. He was the beloved husband for 62 years of Edith Boettcher (nee Pierce, deceased). Loving Father of Linda Ebersbacher (husband Mark), Janine Stone (husband Rob), Vicki Bradford (husband David). Cherished Grandfather of Hayley Iosue ( Ebersbacher, husband Vince Iosue), Sarah Bradford, Zachary Stone, Ryan Bradford, Noah Stone, Joshua Ebersbacher, and Christopher Stone. He was very proud to see all 7 of his grandchildren graduate from college.
Bob lived in Chester Township since 2008, and prior to that Euclid, Ohio. Bob was a member of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio for over 65 years . He loved to dance, or as we like to refer to it,“floated across the dance floor with our mom”, roller skate, bowl, garden, play cards, listen to books and big band music and was an avid fisherman. He also loved dogs, and he had many grandpups he loved to hold. He was a strong man both physically and emotionally. He made many friends at the Chesterland Senior Center and always had a quick response/joke at the ready. He had many amazing caregivers who helped take care of him as their own, allowing him to stay in his own home. To them we are forever grateful.
A private celebration of our father’s life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements entrusted to THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS.

We miss him already! I’ve spent many a great visit with him and Edie on my trips to Cleveland. They both were a beacon in my life and an example of loving commitment to family and friends.
