ROBERT G. BOOTHE, aged 85 years, beloved husband of Judith (nee Hisey), dear father of Robert (Mindy), John (Diane), Timothy (Terie), Karen, Laura Verdone (Greg), Pamela Hannold (Jerry), Jennifer Millar and Amy Bistok-Bunce (Tony), loving grandfather of Andrew, Nicholas, Bre, Jenny, John, Jennifer, Stephanie, Michael, Sara, Rachel, Christine, Timothy, Justine, Harrison, Tristan, Elizabeth, Noah and great-grandfather, and also survived by his canine pal Joey.
Mr. Boothe died Wednesday at Hospice House in Cleveland. He was born on December 13, 1927 in Saxmon, West Virginia. He was a 35 year resident of Wickliffe, previously residing in Lyndhurst and East Cleveland. He worked inside sales for Republic Steel and served as treasurer of the Rebublic Steel Credit Union. He retired after 30 years of dedicated service. He was a World War II Air Force Veteran, where he served as a cryptographer. He enjoyed bowling and golf and was a 32nd Degree Mason.
In lieu of flowers, contributions suggested to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17678 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44110. Private family burial with military honors in Knollwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends to pay tribute and celebrate the life of Bob at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON RD. (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) on THURSDAY JUNE 20, 2013 FROM 5:00 to 8:00 PM.
