  6. David Henry Eaton :

    Lois and family,
I just now saw the notice on facebook of the passing of Sam. I am sorry to have missed this for we would have been there for the service. Please be assured of our ongoing prayers for all of you at this difficult time.
I have many warm memories of the Eatons and the Hamills and their times of fellowship and fun. Monopoly was never more fun than when Sam,Lois, Henry and Wilma played for keeps. I know because I tried without success to sleep through the consternation!
I will miss Sam’s quiet, confident Christian faith. We have lost a pillar of the faith.Psalm 27.
    Love, Dave Eaton

  8. Betty Lajeunesse :

    Dear Lois, Lynne and Dennis,
How sad I was to hear of your husband and father’s death! I have the words in my heart that I want to say, but I feel so inadequate when trying to express them. Sam was such a nice man, a great neighbor for over 30 years, and always so pleasant and positive. Death causes such an abrupt change in our lives, but knowing your family, your faith will see you through the days ahead. Thank you for being so supportive of the Lajeunesse family as we went through the trials that life sent us. I know Tom and I, and all of our children, had great love and respect for the Hamill family. I am just so sorry for your loss.
    With sincere sympathy,
    Betty Lajeunesse and Family
