Timothy Kennedy

Timothy Thomas Kennedy, 76 of Cleveland, OH, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife, of 49 years Margaret (“Peggy” nee Fernbacher) and four children, Patrick (Molly), Timothy (Eileen), Megan Carson (Matt), and Susan Reiman (Charlie); thirteen grandchildren, Claire, Connor, Jack, Bridget, Ryan, Jane, Quinn, Finn, Charlie, Ella, Maggie, Liam, and Caroline; Beloved son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (nee Moran) Kennedy; and beloved brother of the late Kevin (late Karen) Kennedy and Patricia Kennedy Bopp (late Gerald); Uncle and friend to many. Born in Cleveland, he was a proud alumnus of Cathedral Latin High School and longtime parishioner of St. Dominic Church. He will be missed for his wise counsel and wit, his sense of humor and laugh, and his wonderful smile.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Tim at DeJohn Flynn Mylott Funeral Home, 4600 Mayfield Rd., South Euclid; Monday 4-8 PM. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday November 7th, 11 A.M. at St. Dominic Church, 19000 Van Aken Blvd, Shaker Heights, OH. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions in memory of Tim to Hospice of the Western Reserve 17876 St., Clair Ave. Cleveland, OH 44110 or the Judson Foundation.  2181 Ambleside Drive, Cleveland, OH 44106.

    Mr. Kennedy was a big cheerleader for both the St. Ignatius and Villanova Wildcats (Northwestern too) as I witnessed firsthand playing football with his sons Pat and Tim in both high school and college. His big smile went along with his sense of humor (mischievously Irish). We had some great times and some real belly laughs!!! He was proud of his family and was always there to support. He will be missed, yet he will be celebrated too. To ra loo ra loo ra big Tim!!! God bless the Kennedy family from all of us Friends!
