Tom Vespucci

TOM VESPUCCI III, age 64, loving father of Danielle and Jillian Vespucci; devoted grandfather of Domenic Tom Menta, Frankie Joseph Menta and Francesca Vespucci; cherished son of Josephine (nee Licata) and the late Tom Vespucci Jr; dearest brother of Angela Barbera, Gracie Gazdag and Milo Vespucci (wife Anna Marie, deceased); beloved uncle, great-uncle and cousin of many; former spouse of Gina Amato; always remained close to the Joseph A. Amato family.

Tom was born on May 20, 1954 in Cleveland and passed away peacefully surrounded by his family March 12, 2019. He resided many years in Mayfield Heights and grew up in Bedford Heights where he graduated from Bedford High School. Tom enjoyed owning his own roofing and window business, Tom’s Roofing, since he was 17 years old. He loved watching sports and old western movies. Tom cherished his family and the traditions they had. He was a hard-working man that liked to joke and laugh. Tom will be remembered for always making people smile, being a good friend and loving his kids and grandkids — he had nicknames for all of them. Tom was the person that was always there for anyone. He will be greatly missed.

I will never forget Tommy! He truly was one of the nicest guys I knew. He was nice to everyone he came in contact with and such a great sense of humor. His family meant everything to him. He will be missed by so many. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the family. RIP Tommy. See you again some day!

  2. I will never forget my times with you, Tom. You were an amazing soul, man, father, grandfather and friend. There isn’t a time where I can recall that you didn’t have a smile on your face, especially when you were around your family and friends. Tom, you left everyone way too soon and you are loved by so many. I will see you again soon, but until then, know that you are in our hearts, thoughts & prayers until we meet again. Much love and sadness, Yo

  3. Tom,
It is such a tragedy when the world loses such a great man! That is the main thing I think of besides his Beautiful family and the love he had for all of his friends and extended family. Your daughter Jillian is one of the most amazing people and the always say the Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. You are loved by so many people and especially your family. You always had the biggest and the most infectious smile that anyone could ever ask for and a friend. You will always be in my thoughts and I look forward to the day where we meet again. Much love to you and your family as I know you will always be watching over all of us. You are and were an amazing soul , and I can only hope to be half the man to as many people as you have been.
    With sorrow,
    Yoav… A.K.A. YO

I will never forget every morning I worked, he use to put a smile on my face. I worked at Manor Care where he resided at the time. I would say hey Tom, what are you up to? And he would say Hey babe, your are so beautiful and your husband is very lucky to have you. I would never forget, no matter how he was feeling he would always compliment me and ask how I was doing, when I always came to check on him. I send my deepest condolences to the family. Rest in Heaven Peacefully
    Sincerely Tanisha Hayes,RN
