VERONICA M. “RONNIE” TOMBAZZI (nee Coco) age 92, beloved wife for 67 years of Ivo; loving mother of Louis, Rosemarie “Rose” Nelson (husband Allen), Frank (wife Laurel) and mother-in-law of the late Hillary; devoted grandmother of Angela Tombazzi (husband Chris), Alyssa Tombazzi, Trent and Justin Nelson, Joseph and Anna Tombazzi and the late Brandon Nelson; cherished daughter of the late Frank and Rose (nee Buffa) Coco; dearest sister of the late Marie Basile (husband Santo, deceased); dear aunt of Theresa and Rosemarie “Ro” Basile.
Veronica was born on February 14, 1928 in Cleveland and passed away on April 25, 2020. She was a resident of Mayfield Village for 60 years, previously residing in Cleveland. Ronnie graduated from John Hay High School in 1946 and attended Cleveland State University. She was a homemaker, worked for Army Ordinance between 1950-1953, and was a joint owner, secretary and treasurer of Tomco Metal Fab Inc. from 1976-2000. Ronnie was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She loved dancing, singing, bowling and listening to Big Band Music. Ronnie enjoyed family gatherings and traveling to Florida. She will be remembered most as a social, outgoing, friendly, funny and organized woman. Ronnie was hospitable, generous, witty and loved a good party. She was devoted to her family and faith. Ronnie will be dearly missed.

Private Family Mass of Christian Burial with burial at Knollwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Ronnie at THE DeJOHN FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATIONS CENTER OF CHESTERLAND 12811 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (Rt. 306, just south of Mayfield Rd.) MONDAY, May 4 from 4-7 PM.
