VICTOR N. IACIANCI age 87, beloved husband for 65 years of Carmella (nee Giannetti); loving father of Victor (Lea), Jeffrey (Pauline), and Karen (Ray) Iacianci Corby; devoted papa of Joseph (Robyn), Victor (Marie), Bryon, Nicholas, Ariana, Dominic, Lauren (Jason), Nicole, and Christopher and pops of Colin and Easton, Ethan and Shaun, Lianna and Camila; cherished son of the late Michael and Rosaria (nee Pasto); dearest brother of the late Peter (Elisa, deceased); dear uncle and great-uncle of many.
Victor was born on October 15, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio and passed away on June 23, 2021 with family by his side. He was extremely proud of his heritage and growing up in Little Italy allowed him to learn what it meant to be Italian. Meeting so many people, he became quite the historian. Victor accepted a scholarship to Cathedral Latin High School and looked forward to attending every class reunion. Upon graduation, he humbly served his country in the United States Army. His life journey eventually moved him to Collinwood, where he began remodeling homes for rent. The transitions of these homes were amazing. His best work however began in August of 1955 when he married Carmella and together, they built a family. Victor was devoted to his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was always there to help work on anything they needed, and that helping hand extended to his friends. He enjoyed travelling to Florida every year to vacation in one of their time shares, especially Indian Rocks Beach. Being from Cleveland he was a devote Cleveland Brown’s fan and enjoyed watching the Indians. Victor loved his family and spoiled his grandchildren and great-grandchildren with all he had. As his health declined, he was honored by the around the clock care he received from his grandsons. Joseph, Victor, and Bryon made sure he received his medications at exactly the right time multiple times a day. They were devoted to his comfort and pain and made sure he was receiving exactly what he needed up until his last breath. Not a day went by that he was not showered with the same love he once so selflessly gave. Victor will be so dearly missed by his family and friends.
