It was with profound regret when I learned about Vince Pizzino’s passing. I knew Vince from the early 1950s when he married my cousin Lucille just prior to his departure for Korea where he served as a young Army soldier in the Korean War. I was in the fourth grade at the time. In many respects Vince was my hero. He was handsome and sharp in his neatly starched uniform. He was a great American and was very proud of his service as a combat veteran in the U.S. Army. Vince was one of the most generous, thoughtful, and kindest persons that I have ever known. Quite simply, Vince was the best of the best and an outstanding gentleman. My wife Pat and I send our most sincere sympathy and heartfelt condolences to his daughter Debbie and the entire Pizzino family during this very difficult time. May he rest in peace.

Debbie, my siblings and I wanted to send our heartfelt condolences. It was always a joy having your family visit our us in our small town, Nesquehoning. Your mother and father were a wonderful couple and it was fun to be in their company. Vince, would show up with his camera and would take loads of pictures and then mail them to us.
My family, had the opportunity to visit while our oldest daughter Ali was in Ohio, your parents were great hosts, couldn’t feed us enough.
Debbie, we hope you find comfort in knowing the wonderful impression both your parents had on us as kids and as adults.
God Bless,
Maureen and siblings, Pattty, Denise & Jimmy
