
WESLEY G. PAULIN, age 89, passed away December 23, 2020 under the care of Hospice of NW Ohio in Toledo, Ohio.
Born July 16, 1931 Wesley was the adopted son of Frank Paulin and his wife Minnie (nee Kingsmill). Wesley married Betty Jane (nee Huelsmann) on July 5, 1952, and was married for 59 years until her death in 2012.
Wesley was a 49 year resident of Mayfield Heights and member of Our Savior Lutheran Church. He was a longtime employee of Sanymetal Products in Cleveland and retired from Bowden Manufacturing of Willoughby in 1997.
He is survived by his children Garry Paulin and Ray Paulin (wife Diann), as well as 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Betty and son Dennis.
The family will receive friends for socially distanced celebration of life on Wednesday December 30, 2020 at 6 p.m., followed by service at 7:30 p.m. Cremation and private interment to be held at a later date. To his last days, Wesley found happiness in the presence of his grand-animals.
In lieu of flowers and in tribute to those that brought a smile to his face, the family suggests contributions in Wesley’s memory be made to Humane Ohio, 3948 W. Alexis Rd., Toledo, OH 43623.
Cremation by DeJohn Crematory.
The family will receive friends for a socially distanced celebration of life on Wednesday December 30, 2020 at 6 PM, followed by a service at 7:30 PM at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91).
Private interment to be held at a later date.
