WILLIAM J. PAUL age 87, beloved husband for 33 years of Jeanne (Pribula) Paul (nee DeCarlo); loving father of William (wife Karen), Kerry, Stacie Waller (husband Joe), Chaplain Drew (wife BethAnne), Ronald Pribula (wife Laura), James Pribula (Dawn Jimenez), and the late Dina and Valerie; devoted grandfather of 11 and great-grandfather of 5; dearest brother of Joanie Ponzurick (husband Richard, deceased), James (wife Patricia), Ronald (wife Doris), Samuel (wife Rita), and the late Gloria Slonecker, Leonora Muko and Lawrence (wife Marie, deceased); dear uncle and great-uncle of many. U.S. Army Veteran.
William was born October 14, 1931 in Mt. Pleasant, PA and passed away on December 1, 2018. He has been a resident of Euclid for the past 26 years and was formerly a long-time resident of Wickliffe where he coached little league baseball and football when his children were young.
As a young man, William enlisted and served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He possessed an entrepreneurial spirit and ran numerous small businesses while working full-time as a tool and die maker at Lincoln Electric. He had a passion for cooking which led to various catering enterprises most notably the Appallo Party Center in Euclid. He enjoyed entertaining and ensuring anyone that entered his home left were well fed and departed with food for the road and a humorous story to tell. William was generous, fun and had a great sense of humor. He will be dearly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial with Military Honors Monday, December 10, 2018 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 1730 Mt. Carmel Drive, Wickliffe, Ohio 44092. Cremation following by DeJohn Crematory. Private Burial will take place at All Souls Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of William at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) SUNDAY 2 – 6 PM.
