William Fred Eger

WILLIAM FRED EGER, age 63, cherished son of Fred William and Alice Magdalene (nee Yuhas) Eger; dearest brother of Dorothy Henderson (Russ) and the late Debbie Eger; dear cousin and great-cousin of many. 

William was born on December 31, 1962, in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Wickliff High School in 1981 and went on to enter the construction industry as a laborer and painter. William was an outgoing family-man who enjoyed Cleveland sports, The Ohio State Buckeyes and family vacations to Cook Forest State Park. He was both handy and generous; he would do anything to help others. William is remembered for his good heart, love for life, and devotion to his family.

Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of William on Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 1 - 5 PM at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS COMMUNITY ROOM, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91).
